i bought a jtag on eBay and i recently received it  but it didn't come with the original nand. i was wondering if there was a way to put it on a flash drive using freeboot of something like that? and if not will it be okay to use sum1's nand and just change the keys?

You can't get the original NAND if it came pre-flashed.

You can get the modified NAND by dumping it with Flash360, then extracting the CPU key with Xell.

If you're trying to put Dashlaunch on your box, extract the Freeboot NAND then run BestPig's tool for ease of use.

Although I have never done it there is a way to recreate your original nand from your freeBoot/ Xbr.
