Hi everyone!
My friend recently gave me his old non-functioning 360. Turned it on and got e74. Took it apart, x-clamp fix had already been done, flux all over the board... At this point I wanted to give up and call it a day, but I ran a full profile and booted. 15 minutes later it froze, got 0102. Gave it another reflow
but this time I replaced the gpu heatsink with a falcon cpu heatsink and moved the dvd drive outside the case. Ordered some plexiglass, yellow plastidip and a uv led strip. I also have an ace v3 lying around so i do an rgh2 as well, but since it's a zephyr it might be a little tricky. I know zephyrs aren't very reliable, but I'm just looking for something to do in my spare time (I'm 16 and have been messing with 360s since I was 10-11) and I really enjoy doing this kind of stuff. It really makes me happy.
Anyway, I'll keep you guys updated. The console has been running flawlessly for a few hours now. The bigger cpu heatsink really makes a huge difference (30-40c using a thermocouple).
