Ok so a while back i changed my theme then i decided i wanted to go back to my default one. So i restored my computer. and now everything is just mad gay.

First off everytime i click something (file folder ect ect) i get a pop up that says windows installer... then it disappears then my right click registers.

Then my right click in many programs like firefox don't work right. for example i no longer have my flashget options so i reinstalled flashgot and it still doesnt work right because now i need to select links one by one if i want flash get to register them.

IDK everthing is just messed up any ideas of what i should do?

Reformat. Burn yourself a copy of Windows XP, or whatever you want and do a clean install. It'll be just like getting a new computer.

Ok i have no desire to reformat my computer. Reformatting is basically just admitting your retarded and cant fix problems.

Don't give me a solution that a retard could have thought of.

It really isn't. Try a system restore if you haven't already considered that

    Did you read?
A system restore is what caused it.

I think you might be able to reverse the restore. If your able to, do this and then proceed to use a registry cleaner.

Wow. What's retarded is your dealing with this problem, when it could be solved in 30 minutes.

What's retarded is using a restore to get rid of an applied visual style. Oh, and the way he composed his message.

Use CCleaner and it's registry cleaner like they said, but next time, remove the style properly. You can have multiple visual styles installed simultaneously and switch between them with no repercussions.

I would recommend putting an XP CD in your drive, going to the 'run' command and type this:

    'sfc /scannow'

This performs a system file check against the XP CD to make sure your OS and system files are working correctly. Anything that needs work, it will copy the original file from the CD to your HDD, replacing whatever is corrupt or screwed up

Just remember if you do that, you're going to have to replace the files for custom visual styles again!

Yeah, well, I don't want him starting a new topic for that too.
