does anyone know if there is a way to use the data migration kit multiple times.... is it the xbox, the cable, or disk that prevents multiple usage and is there anyway around it other than using a new kit....? everything else gets cracked, modded, hacked but when it comes to this i haven't found any posts regarding it.... and if there is no way is there any other way to transfer that large amount of data from one hard drive to another...? thanks alot...

Use xplorer, copy all the data from one hard drive, connect the other, and inject it in. I'm pretty sure the disk can only be used once.

The actual data migration kit from xbox can be used multiple times for modding gamerscore, gamesaves, hexing and even modding.

The disc can be used multiple times, because I moved all my files from my old harddrive to my new Halo3 harddrive. I then gave the disc to my friend to use because he needed to move some things from one harddrive to the other.

Please Give Thanks

NOOBS READ!!!!!

Why wait for a transfer cable for two weeks. you can purchase a sata to usb adapter from a retail store. Just unscrew the 4 screws on the Xbox HDD and you will see if you didn't know already that it is just a laptop HDD in there. It slides out, plug it into your sata - USB adapter and open XPort 360 and there you go. NO TWO WEEK WAIT. This is what I do and it literally take a total of 5 min to replace a svg file, BTW I dont put the cover back on the HDD for easier future access plus it looks cool to your friends since it looks like you hacked it all up

Or you can not sped money and wait two weeks for one where you dont have to open your xbox hard drive and risk it. One little static shock will destroy it, so make sure you touch something metal before you touch your hdd. But you can always do this if you dont want to ring MS or wait two weeks.
