I am attempting to build my own computer, and its not working so well at the moment. I ordered my mobo and cpu and I installed them fine, except that theres one hole in the motherboard thats not raised up by the case. Also I can't seem to find the right screws because it's just a case my friend had. I have a few screws that fit in it propery(so I think) but I don't want to risk shorting out the motherboard. Do I need a special type of screw? They all seem to work, and will that non raised part affect anything?

You need to read your MOBO manual. It will tell you were standoffs should be and have a simple diagram of all the screw holes. If you need more help just message me.

Most screws that come with your parts should be universal when building your computer. Well that was the case when building mine...
