Discussion modded controller wont work online

cod 4 : my modded controller works offline in split screen but as soon as i sign in it wont let me , my mod button changes to single fire in both private and ranked?

3 threads u know it might be like a cod4 update or something b idk but just stating.and how is your controller rapid is it by chip,led mod,or vibe mod it can be either one of those arn't to compatible but it sounds chipped so it could be how it was programmed.

Mine was 5 off my cousin (to install it) and it doesnt work if i turn box on first then controller only if i hold trigger than that, but it works fine if i turn it on first
