I probly have this entirly wrong as i know next to nothing about checksums etc. But i was thinking maybe you could calculate the checksum of the original save and search for it in the hex and maybe i think you could change the checksum requirements so it will accept diffrent values.

As i said before im probly entirly wrong so dont flame haha.

The checksum will be different every-time, it calculates it based off of the data in the save. If you change any of that data, the checksum will be wrong.
