Does playing a gif image as your background run your memory down, does it mess it up,or anything else?

It shouldn't effect anything on your computer what so ever. It might use a little bit of memory, just because its a GIF playing, but it wont effect your system usage. Just out of curiosity, what image are you wanted to use as a GIF background?

Really it depends on the size of the gif and the specs of your computer. If you have a decent amount of RAM, it shouldn't slow you down at all really.

That's a pretty big gif, really I wouldn't recommend setting that as your background. If you have a lot of RAM you should be fine.

if you have over 2gb of ram it will barely affect you. below 2gb do not do it because it may be 2 great of a strain.
