I'm a new Mac User, I got my first Mac in January.
I was wondering if someone could give me some software suggestions for Macs? I'm a digital artist so I more or less want programs that can enhance the functions of a Mac.

I have Adobe CS4, mac the ripper, Drive genius 2, tech tool delux 4, firefox. Vuze.

I'm also looking for some comic book cataloging software and cd/dvd cataloging software and yet to find a good free verision

    THANKS IN ADVANCE!

If by enhance the functions you mean make it look pretty, wait for the release of Facade. Also try Audacity and such... Adium is a great instant messaging program too. Lifehacker always puts out an article on the latest Mac and Windows downloads, so go check their archives out?

Dude The Great Thing About Having A Mac Is ALL The Free Software So I First Suggested Geting QuickSilver It Will Make Your Mac Far More Functional Then Ever! It Will Mae Finder Look Lame You Probably Almost Never Use Finder After You Get QuickSilver Go Read About It Check It Out. Also If You Ever Take Photo's AND You Say Wow I Wish I Could Change This Or That Touch This Up Or Whatever...Usually You'd Need Photoshop But It Cost Money Well Get Gimp It Free AND A Great Program Go Check It Out. Also If You Download Anything Ever You Wanna Get Transmission It A BitTorrent Client And IT'S SIMPLE And You,ll Want It Without A Doubt.
