Unsolved Loud DG-16D2S

Hey guys, I repaired a sticky disc tray by cleaning the old band and greasing the gears so the drive opens fine, but the issue I'm having now is when it reads a game the laser is REALLY loud while reading data. It has no problem reading it, just that its annoyingly loud doing it. Any tips or tricks to fix this issue?
