I'm going to be honest, I don't know much about computers or what is good or what isn't good.
My current specs are:
Video card:
ASUS VH236H (1920x1080@59Hz)
3072MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series (MSI)
CPU(Major issue):
Intel Pentium G3258 @ 3.20GHz
RAM:
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 800MHz
Motherboard:
MSI Z97-G45 GAMING (MS-7821)
I am looking to upgrade this Black Friday.

Any help would be great.

Um, what? That motherboard isn't compatible with either of those CPUs. Also why did you list 2 CPUs, which one are you using? What is your budget and currency to work with? What are the rest of your specs?

Sorry updated the op, I used Canmypcrunit to find my specs the first time, it was a bad choice.

I'm looking to just upgrade my cpu cause right now its pretty ******. My budget is around 200-300 but I'm looking to buy on Black Friday.

Need to know what case and PSU you have. Also, what CPU cooler are you using, stock? What storage are you using, SSD(s)/HDD(s)? Lastly, can you clarify your currency? Is it 200-300USD?

Your GPU I am assuming is a 7950/7970 one of the best cards ever made it was a flagship back in 2012 and now it even holds up to mid range cards today.

This cooler is $19.99 & better than many $40 coolers its the best bang for your buck.

What? No it's not. Are you seriously trying to say that the Cryorig M9i is better than the Cryorig H5? lmfao

OP- do what? Use an i7? Yes, you could get a 4790k instead of the 4690k, but it would be more expensive.
Where did I say its better than the H5? I said its better than most $40 coolers like the 212 EVO (35.99 cooler).

And its the best bang for buck on normal prices

Also the H5 is hard to find for 40 dollars.

The H7 can be picked up occasionally for $30-35 and its top tier (pretty much as good as most $60 coolers.) When you can find it this is the best cooler I would recommend.

Its in stock $30 atm.

I suggested the H5 as its $46 and is better than the H7 and M9i. The extra $26 for the H5 over the M9i is definitely worth it.

Unless he is trying to overclock 100% to the max I would say its not worth it. If he is just going mild overclock/stock the M9i is more than enough.
