If it is signed by your profile ID and its on your file share, Yes.

Yes, they can ban you because you put it on your fileshare. But don't worry, they don't ban for Recon screenshots. They only ban for non-Halo 3 screenshots, such as porn, etc...

so is it safe? what do u all think

You only get banned if the screen shot itself is modified. If it is a legit screen shot of a modded film then you are fine. They only ban for having the actual modified item on your file share.

There's no point in doing that. The author's name means nothing to Bungie.

Why wouldn't it? If your Pnet tag or something is on a screenshot and you dont want banned delete your orginal console ids and delete the authors name. i have a program by Dogpoints that removes the author. I dont remember the name but you should be able to look around for it.

You can use Dark Slipstreams '360 Reality' to change the author on any Halo 3 file.

I second that. I got fileshare banned, cos I was bored and uploaded a film of people .map modding up. I also happened to have a screenshot of me with my gamertag in the bottom with flaming recon. Funnily enough, I got fileshare banned and the film was taken down, yet by screenie still remains today.
