Make a long story short... After I solder every thing together i tested it. Turned on the xbox LEDs stayed on for about a min then shut off and I smelled that burning smell. I look and its my resistor smoking so i unplugged it. replaced the resistor with a new thinking it was bad but LEDs didnt turn on and 15 secs later resistor started smoking.

I put 4 blue rectangular LEDs from radio shack ---> Link
Resistor that i got ---> Link

Ok this how i have it wired up...The 12v power source under the xbox power plug in thing same with the ground. I have my LEDs in a parallel (not series). i just have 1 resistor between the power source and the first LED.

Thx for the help Se7ensins

That resistor is far to small for that. You need a 120ohm if you don't want to fry more stuff.
thx... if its alright to ask... how do you figure that out? so i dont have to come back and keep asking.i have this app on my phone that i used and it failed me lol
