I have been interested in modding on the PlayStation 3 for a long time but never knew where to start. I know that there is a lot to know in regards to modding and staying anonymous and it's more then just having a PlayStation that can do the trick.

I really do want to start modding mainly just for my personal use and satisfaction but for friends aswell.

I know there is a lot of people out there that can mod and know everything there is to know about the basics and more advanced modding. Which is why I am posting this today.

I am looking for anyone who knows how to mod, hack and especially stay anonymous and protected whilst doing it. I am very keen to learn and need someone to spend a little time chatting to me about how to do it. Say over Skype.

I am willing to pay for your time and effort and appreciate anyone who does come forward to help.

Before you can mod you need PS3 Slim 3.55 OFW you can click here to view the listed of the prices, and find one that meets your budget. So, once you have that then you going need to install Rebug 4.75.1 REX Custom Firmware so you can start modding games etc. Rebug is the most popular CFW that many people use and even myself. And I have been in the PS3 modding scene for 2 years. Being on Rebug CFW you have the ability to convert from CEX to DEX. CEX is retail and DEX is basically a debug machine, their are more release for mods for like GTA V when comes to sprx mod menu the best ones are really on DEX in my opinion but some your game region need to be BLES. Also, everything run smoothly on DEX rather than CEX especially when comes to modding for COD games, and you want to use GSC mod menus using GSC Studio to inject the menu in game.

But yeah when you have your 3.55 slim OFW PS3, you going want to click here that's my thread it has Rebug 4.75.1 REX CFW and other CFW, homebrew apps and tutorials I have created to help members on the site. But homebrew apps such as PSNPatch which is use to disable your CFW to make it look as if you are on OFW. Then PSN Ninja basically wipe the history on the Jailbreak PS3. And then CCAPI 2.60 (Rev7) that is use to also to make your Jailbreak PS3 to OFW mode. The hombrew apps I listed in the post are use to lower chance to getting banned from Sony when playing online on your CFW, it doesn't save you from getting banned in those COD games and GTA V. The COD games you will need good anti-ban that keep you from getting account banned from modding.

You can also use CCAPI to change your console id from the banned one to your new private or public cid. So, when you get your Jailbreak PS3 I suggest to not go on the Psn store at all otherwise you may get banned, that can result in console or account banned. If you get console banned then you can unban your console with a new private cid or public, but I suggest private cid, because a lot of people use public and those get banned quick. But if you get account banned then you screwed because their isn't no way to unban banned account from Sony, so I suggest to not use your main account. The console id are around $25 but beware of scammers because you can paid for it, then they give you console id that is already psn banned so keep in mind for that.
