Discussion [Leak] New Incoming Game Modes!

While Doing some digging through Battlelog source code trying to find DLC content i have found some game modes that have place holders in the server but are not currently active. All that were not familiar to me are below with my explanation on what i think they are.

These modes have been confirmed false by a Dice developer.

From what the file says it only acknowledges Xbox and PS3 (I assume Xbox 360) but they will probably be avalible on all systems. All of these listed have server playlist addresses.

1. "TANKSUPERIORITY" - Tank version of Air Superiority introduced in Battlefield 3's Armored Kill DLC
2. "GUNMASTER" - kind of like COD's gun game, Introduced in Close Quarters Battlefield 3 DLC
3. "COMBATMISSION" - A game mode like Rush but with objectives instead of MCOM's, introduced in Medal of Honor 2010.
4. "SQRUSH" - Squad Rush, a game mode featured in Bad Company 2 & Battlefield 3
5. "SCAVENGER" - Scavenge for weapons, introduced in Battlefield 3's Aftermath DLC
6. "SPORT" - Haven't figured this one out yet. (if you think you may know more info PM or quote me)
7. "FIRETEAM_SURVIVOR" - only one life (if you think you may know more info PM or quote me)
8. "ONSLAUGHT" - Co-op Missions game mode, Introduced in Bad Company 2's Onslaught DLC

Lol I'm not sure about that. I have mountains of code that i'm digging through to try and find out more.

ZOMG THEYRE BRINGING BACK ONSLAUGHT DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD It was a mode in Bad Company 2 where it was just Coop missions where you would try and cap all the flags from a to e. You would just start at one and go forth from there. So much fun!

As for Gunmaster, it is just gun game from cod or counter strike. Scavenger was a domination style game mode from Battlefield 3 in which you hunted for weapons on the ground similar to old school from CoD 4. Not sure about the others you were confused about however. Great find!

Thanks. I will have more to leak. Just gotta sift through all the code there is bound to be more in there. I think I found new map names but am still investigating.

haha, awesome find. Really excited about these new game modes. Thats one thing I love about battlefield, there are so many different game modes that its hard to get bored.
