Laptop Pricing Question

I'm thinking about selling my laptop to get a new one...however i dont want to sell my laptop unless i can get at least 500 bucks for it. Tell me how much i could sell this laptop for on eBay.

Manufacturer: Dell
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo @1.83 GHz
RAM: 3gb
OS: Windows Vista 32 bit
Battery: 9 cell. Gets about 3 hours average at the moment

Umm what else...it has barely any scratches on it...no physical damage to it...runs a tad bit slow but i think once i clear the hard drive and everything it will speed up...Its a solid laptop, im sure it sounds like junk to you computer nerds but i actually got it for 1200, fully customized on Dell.com. I think im just going to take the price you guys tell me its worth and sell it for like 200 more. Im sure some idiot out there will buy it lol

Also, should i extend my warranty before I sell it? I figure that will make it more wantable on ebay. I thank you for all ur replies ahead of time.

This is from the UK, but it's is a better laptop, brand new, and cheaper.

Compaq CQ61 Laptop

Good reviews as well. But someone will buy it for a silly price. Wipe the HDD and install some programs like Photoshop and Vegas. Will attract a lot more attention. And maybe W7?
