How does this work? A simple lag switch? I assumed lag switching would bring up the "Network Lag" screen and make a player unable to move
Still doesn't explain how he managed to do it without the "network lag detected" screen coming up and preventing him from moving. I just tested and a lag switch will bring up that screen and not let the player move. Unless it was a recent patch by bluehole after he made those videos. But that network lag screen has been around as long as I can remember. He was console banned for this, hes on his 2nd xbox now, and bluehole set it up so that you run forward now when you lag yourself.
Interesting...Blocking and unblocking ports. Or filtering them. You can do this in the plane sometimes and the people in it will basically split the session. So to them you went afk but to you they did. Have a pc up on your modems firewall. Go in and block the port for pubg when you first get in the plane. Wait til the press b to jump message pops then unblock it. Everyone will stay in the plane til the end. You will know its 100% if you squad and your entire team goes grey.
Easy way to get a chicken dinner before the first circle comes.
Boring but easy.
Hes using a hardware lag switch, he even shows you how to build one on his channel, hes using a switch to cut the cable for a split millisecond. ddosing yourself with udp unicorn of whatever will bring the "network lag detected" screen. it doest work like that, actual breakage of cable is needed.
You didn't build it properly then, and im not even gonna argue over that.
you can do some really cool stuff port filtering too. xbl does some interesting things when you filter the xbl port. blocking the xbl port can have the unintended effect of knocking you out of xbox live. but filtering can make some cool things happen.Ugh I'm trained in networking I think I know how to build a simple lag switch. It was done exactly how he has in the video. The game only allows around 3 seconds of an interrupted connection using that method before it brings up the network lag detected screen. The video of his lag switch is over a year old, while his recent video I posted even says "lag switch = no". So I highly doubt that's the exact method he's still using. My testing says it doesn't work and you've provided no evidence that it does. However port blocking does work in this situation.
