Solved Jtag making help

Ha so I just foound out I can Jtag a 360 but i'm kinda feeling dumb and would feel much better if someone coached me through it and helped me with freeboot (choose whatever is best for me) and such. So if anyone can guide me through this I would feel way better. I can solder alright. I basically don't understand what the heck i'm doing completely. And do i need a lpt port on my computer or how does a Jtag work that way.

Yes you need an LPT port on the computer.Then you have to solder an LPT cable on to the jtaggable make sure its jtaggable if it isnt and you have already soldered the connections on you can take them off and the xbox will still work.There is a TUT on here on how to do it.

Is there a way to add a LPT port or use some other kind of cable to connect to a different port of my computer

You could check your local radio shack.I think it would still work.
