It's 99% my fault. I had dash launch running on a previous kernal.
Updated it to 13599 and it started booting back into the Kinect dash, which I assume is perfectly normal.

I've decided I want it to boot into FSD again so I'm trying to run dash launch again.

I'm using the download from here
[Click here to view this link]

I've changed "sample_launch.ini" to "launch.ini"
and updated the quick launch buttons to
Code:
BUT_X = Hdd1:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00080000\C0DE99990F586558
Default = Hdd1:\Content\0000000000000000\FSD\default.xex

I've used Hdd1 as that was how I did it last time and thats how it shows when browsing xexMenu, but I have tried Hdd just in case.

When I run Dash Launch I get the follwing

writing launch.xex to flash... File is already current in flash
writing lhelper.xex to flash... File is already current in flash
checking for external patches
CB4558 found, type: Zephyr
External Patches not found, checking embedded patches

Patches don't need to be updated, already current

Flashing done, Press A to shut down

When I boot the console back up I'm still getting kinect dash.
Would anyone be able to point out what I'm missing?

the launch.ini is in the root of your xbox hard drive yes?

It is.
I've also moved my FSD folder to the root
so my quick launch now reads
"Default = Hdd:\FSD\default.xex"
