Hi so I recently order a clone jr programmer v2 off of amazon. I have soldered it and plugged it into my computer. However when I do I just get a red light. The device however is recognized but as USB Input device. I cant seem to find the drives, and JRunner program itself. Does anyone mind helping me out?

Yes, just select ...\J-Runner (17526)\common\drivers when you install the drivers. It should find the ones you need by itself

oof so I disabled the signature thing, and I do update drivers and select the folder of the drivers. But I just get a the bestd rivers for your device are already installed. Is there something to do with the switches on the programmer?

So you are looking for these files:
    C:\Windows\System32\drivers\PTLIBUSB0.SYS
    C:\Windows\System32\PTLIBUSB0.DLL
    C:\Windows\SYSWOW64\PTLIBUSB0.DLL

You need to delete these from your computer, then unplug and plug the jrp back into the computer (make sure the light is green) and try to install the drivers again. The switch by the reset button should never move. If the light is red, the jrp is in bootloader mode and you need to reflash it through j-runner.

oh okay. thanks. I'll tell if you it's work or not
[doublepost=1562896237][/doublepost]Uhh I don't have those files at all.
[doublepost=1562896321][/doublepost]Do I have to connect power to my Xbox 360 but not turn it on? Because I saw a video of somebody having the programmer connected to the motherboard, and plugging in the xbox to power.

Yeah I really still have no idea what to do to. Sorry. I saw an .exe in drivers so I opened it, and it installed the drivers. However it still doesn't change in Device Manager, and it's still red.

And does it show up as a "XECUTER JR-PROGRAMMER" when you try and install drivers?

I had to go with my mom to pick up my cousin. I’ll do it when I get back in like an hour. Idk if you’ll still be on. I’m in the PST time zone, but I’m assuming you’ll be busy.
