Hello so I recently modded a Jasper Xbox 360 it’s a V1 so not the kornos. I modded it doing rgh3 and it was working fine until one day I went to turn it on and there was no boot to xell or freeboot. I went ahead and flashed the original nand (as it being a BB Jasper it took forever) and then got the 0110 error. I will admit I wasn’t using the 22k resistor as I was in a hurry and didn’t have any at the time. Is there any way of fixing this? I read that the only fix is replace gpu/ram I have other parts consoles that I could get a ram chip from. But will i have to configure anything if I did replace the ram? Should I just use the console for parts now? Thank you for any help/suggestions.

I have attached some pictures for Octal450 Octal450 or anyone who thinks what might be wrong i got some closer images of the ram chips and the GPU unless someone sees something that I don't. I also showed the solder points unless there's something possibly shorting but everything looks fine to me. Let me know if you need some more pictures. Thank you for all the help.

I don't really see any problem, checked for traces around the x-clamp holes being damaged?

Kind Regards,
Josh

Yea everything looks perfect. Do you think it’s possibly just a bad gpu? I mean it is the first version of the Jasper. All I remember doing was using it for a few hours turning it off letting it sit for 2-3 days I come back to turn it on and there’s no boot even after letting it sit for like 3 minutes. So I flashed the nanddump back and now that’s where I’m at now.

Honestly, I'd lean more toward bad RAM. Those Infineon/Qimonda bricks are the most common with 0110 fault.
You could measure all 8 post points and tell me the value, WHILE THE RROD IS BLINKING, WAIT FOR THE RROD TO MEASURE, and maybe it tells me something.

Kind Regards,
Josh

Do you have images or diagrams on where the 8 points are? Also do you think a reflow on the rams could get it working? Or would I just be better off replacing? is it possible to put a different ram on! Like Samsung? Or does it have to be the exact same?

Not sure if I did this right or even measured the right ones. And it’s my first time using the ohm mode on my multimeter so yep.

Hey so I was messing around with the console and got 0031 which I’m pretty sure means faulty ram/shorted resistor. Might be wrong but unsure. I have made sure nothing could be shorting around the ram and it looks fine. I’m starting to think it could just be a dead ram brick. But which one tho?

It also might have been the heatsink shorting it as I wasn’t using the pegs on it that the x clamps grab onto as I was tired of having to hold the board for the heatsinks to make contact so I took them off.

0031 is not a short ram/resistor, don't listen to the idiots at x-ex.

Alright. Also I just got another Xbox 360 with 0110 it’s a falcon V2. Is this a side effect of rgh3 2 of my consoles have died all I did was put the 22k ohm resistor in and it’s dead.

found a giant slice thru many traces near the ram chips on the bottom board. And 2 caps missing. Don’t know how that happened. But gonna try and repair the traces and put 2 new caps on.

Yeah, that must be why. Good luck repairing!

Yea haven’t had good luck there’s like 6 traces on the bottom that are broken. And even with .1mm wire it’s still having problems booting. Might take them off and send some pics if you want me to.

Did you ever get this sorted out by chance? or is this now a parts board? My cousin's falcon is having the same 0110 RROD error after RGH3'ing. We were having issues so it's been thru a few nand flashes. Hoping maybe just maybe, we can bring it back from the dead (again). This one also only RR's when on stock...

EDIT: C cg6554 Just realized you were the person that's been helping me over on Reddit lol. I ended up getting this "fixed" for now by reflowing all the ram chips, the hana chip, as well as the GPU. I know it's not a permanent fix, but it was about to be a parts console so just gonna keep her going as a second console for my other room. Maybe a reflow with good flux might help bring her back from the dead for you. This one was a falcon as well btw.
