This is the weirdest thing...

*I've checked with a multimeter and redone the soldering multiple times
*Made sure the Jr-Programmer v2 is not in bootloader mode
*Made sure it is in NAND programming mode
*Made sure the drivers for it are installed and working (hell J-Runner identifies it)
*Made sure J-Runner is in admin mode
*Tested J-Runner under compatibility mode
*Disabled signed drivers enforcement
*Made sure the console was plugged in and in stand by mode (the board is a Falcon btw)

Even after all of that, I'm still getting errors from J-Runner when I press the little "?" to find the board type (I've posted pictures/logs below).
Am I missing something?

Those nand wires look terrible :frown:
I would cut down in length the end of your wires, clean up ALL nand points then try again.
When you've re-soldered your trimmed nand wires, connect your nand wires plug end to your JR-Programmer,then launch J-Runner and press "F2" on your keyboard.
Please report back with results from my help.Thanks,bud.

I got another board that I can confirm works 100% and soldered the wires better than last time. After arguing with the programmer to get its drivers installed properly I pressed f2 to no avail.

it's still spitting out the same error

I finally got the programmer, re-soldered, connected to the new programmer, opened J-runner, saw the logo where it's supposed to be. Nothing. still spitting out "checking console, device not found, can not continue". Could it be software at this point? Edit: When I click on "power on" in the JR-P menu it says "device not found" even though the logo appears edit: after messing around with drivers I've gotten to flash config 0x00000000. is this to do with soldering? Edit 2: After pressing F2 it correctly read the console! if anyone else has this problem, use the 2nd method here to install drivers: https://windowsreport.com/the-best-driver-software-is-already-installed-windows-10/
as for the drivers, you can get them here: .
Thank you for everyone's help getting through this! consider this case closed!
