Hi all, I've had a jtag xenon for quite some time and it just turned to dust today, Im thinking of buying a DemoN chip... Ive been out of the game for a while and havent looked into what dash / motherboards are vulnerable to the hack

I have a Flat Black 4gig flash memory Xbox slim... Running on the current dash

I would love dual or triple NAND to explore what xbox's really have to offer, so is it jtag-able/RGH and also if I could get some suggestions for mod chips if DemoN isnt the greatest thing going...

Ya unfortunate the latest dash changed the way the xbox calculates a certain key which made the RGH hack no longer work (your way off for JTAGing) so as of right now no. BUT, the beta version of the next dash has been hacked to work with the RGH so you just need to wait till the full dash comes out. I'd point you to the link of the news but the thread was removed for some reason.

Ok so if I were to buy a new xbox slim with either corona or trinity straight from wal mart it would be RGH correct, if it doesnt have 15574?, what do you think the chances are of 15574 being the dash as stock?

Very unlikely. That updated came out in June so it would have to be manufactured between then and now. I doubt Microsoft has even sold consoles to retailers with that update yet. So your probably fine doing that.

Ok maybe im rehersing what has already been said... so in turn if I buy a new console and get a dash less than 15574 im fine to RGH trinity or corona correct?

Correct. Getting the Trinity would be best but hard, but the corona works too.

Well it depends if the new hash calculation can be circumvented via software or if it needs new hardware. If it is hardware then it will be a while because they need to design it and the manufacture it. But the fact that they already hacked the beta 16113 has already been exploited is promising that it is software fixable and will be out soon.

As my research goes on I keep finding that there are two versions of the Corona mobo.. So are they both exploitable? and should I just try a cool runner for this? I dont necessarily NEED dual nand it would just be nice

Right now the V2 Corona is not exploitable as they have not figured out how to read its NAND yet. You can tell the difference because the NAND chip is on the bottom of the board in V2. Coolrunner is what you want regardless of the console (unless it's a corona V2 then wait).

It's okay i understand as when it comes to doing these thing for the first time you want to be 100% sure of whats going on so you don't waste money or break anything.

Lol, no problem. You can see in my sig that I like doing this so it was no trouble. I was the same way about I year ago. I stopped caring and then when I heard of the RGH I got back to knowing everything.
