Question iPod touch installer error

every time i open installer and try to download an app it says
"unable to decode package more info at *"
the * is the source that it is from and i want to know if there is anyway to get around this and if some one can tell me where to get apache can you please tell me?

1. Installer is outdated, get Cydia.
2. Installer has a lot of bugs, one being your problem here.
3. To fix it, the only way I know, is to simply restart your iPod/iPhone, somehow it must refresh your Applications and thus you can download stuff again.

Well, Cydia is definatly better, but it's still worth putting Installer on your iPod Touch, because it has some apps not yet loaded into Cydia.

i got cydia and its what i use most of the time but i found some stuff that i only have on installer and my friend's touch only has installer on it and his works great. anyways thanks, i guess ill just jailbreak the new firmware and not include installer.
