Unsolved Iphone Sms Limit?

So earlier today after receiving a text I got an alert that said "Your sms mailbox is full. New messages cannot be received until you delete some messages." I didn't know the iphone had a limit and this really is pissing me off. I do not delete my text messages.

So to summarize:

1. What is the limit on the number of texts

2. How can I change the limit.

I have an iphone 3gs jailbroken on 3.0.

It's probably the amount of text messages stored on the phone. Try deleting some (or all) of your text messages and try that.

Well that's what I'm saying...do it for a few of them and at least see if it works. Why do you need all of your texts anyways?

I have my reasons, and It does work if I do that, I deleted one text and it worked.

Export iPhone Text Messages to a Spreadsheet - Jailbreak - Lifehacker

Do that. Save them on your comp. Delete them off your phone.

Thanks IBDC I started doing that a different way using tansee iphone sms transfer, which is a lot simpler and more efficient then the lifehacker tut.
