I was wondering if anyone new a way to stop Internet explorer saving files to your computer... ?

You know like Add-on settings, History, Cookies, Passwords,

I just want ot Block all files coming from IE because im sick of re-installing Windows after a few months to keep it performing fast again... Iv stoped other files being put on there from other programs but having trouble with IE?

BTW, i have looked on google... Cant find nothing..

....don't use internet explorer?

or just go to control panel, network and internet, internet options, delete browsing history, you can delete all the cookies and stuff.
And you can set it to clear whenever you exit.

Use the system tools to your advantage, these should keep it running smoothly.

Yes it gets rid of everything, or you could just set the restore points manually like right after a windows update

Hello Cottle. Now you really do not want to set your Internet Zone to block everything otherwise you will have problems accessing certain websites. Just follow Unced's instructions and you will do just fine.

-Use Disk Clean Up

-If you want to disable add-ons such as toolbars and other browser extensions, go to Internet Tools, click the Advanced tab and make sure that the option Enable third-party browser extensions* is unchecked.
