So I have heard of three ways to do it:
    -Towel Trick
    -Pop Off a RAM chip
-Hit eject for about 5 minutes

Last night i was doing the towel trick and after a while the xbox power brick would go orange, then the xbox was giving me 2 red lights, which I think means it sensed overheating and shut down the cpu/gpu and left the fans on..

    Eject button thing didn't work.

I refuse to open it and pop off ram.

How can I induce the RROD, could I be doing the Towel Trick incorrectly? Should I try wetting a cloth and putting it over the intake & fans and then do the towel trick?

I mean, the box doesn't read discs, and I wanna send it in. But I can't get it to rrod.

i dont know much about this kind of stuff but what i did was pop in unreal tournament (the only game that would cause the rrod for me if i played for more than an hour) n just left it on until i got it, after that happened i just sent it in to get repaired n i got one that works perfectly fine now. i did it about 4-5 times to see if it would happen again n it did. try leaving it on for a period of time with a game on.

I will try that, I appreciate your answer!

But I would still like alternative answers from other people in case that does not work.

Just wrap it in a big blanket and make sure all the openings are covered up, leave it on for a couple hours and its should have RRoD.

I did it to my friends console when the disc drive broke.

My 360 would shut off after like 30 seconds of being wrapped up in multiple blankets/towels.

When doing the towel trick keep your box on an angle so the solder/thermal paste will drip off and cause rrod or if it comes to it use something like a heat gun to remove the sticker (it will fall off on its own), put it on wax paper and de-solder something/pop a ram chip off and put the sticker back on and send it in.

    Try this.

Doesn't seem too hard. I might do it myself, I have a red ringed xbox lying around. Might as well try.

You really don't have to go through all the effort. Microsoft never really checks to see if it's 3rrod.

When I did it I just said I got 3rrod when I turned it on one day. Then all you have to do is BS your way through the troubleshooting process with the phone rep. Just make sur to tell him the power button in the middle lights up green but you get 3 red rings. They don't check the xbox as long as it has the warranty sticker.

Just send it in. It's not like they actually check it.

Make the repair online, get your box, and send it in.
