I am in a hotel for the next 9 weeks, except on weekends because of work. I tried to connect and the internet worked, but it wouldn't connect to Xbox Live. Anyone know a way to get it?

Actually it connects to the wireless, but from the wireless to the internet is the problem...

I bridged them now, and now from the Xbox to the Network isn't connecting.. It says it cannot obtain an IP address.

Hotel connections usually don't work. There is a tutorial somewhere around here that shows how to do it though.

Did you try googling this and spending at LEAST an hour on google? Usually results will turn up

Well it told me that it can't obtain an IP automatically.

Well find out what kind of router they have and try doing it manually.

Why would the router type matter? Don't all go up to 250?

Cause if you do it manually you need the IP Address, the Subnet Mask, and the Gateway. And those are different depending on which router you're using.

But I put that stuff in there, should I bridge my laptops connection and make both my laptop and 360 have the same IP?
