After purchasing some Talismoon MAX fans with the nitro button I installed them.
After never messing with the power sources EVER I had to try and work out which lead went were since there was NO instructions.
So a note to anyone who's installing these the power connector which has the splitters GOES INTO the disk drive, and then the other power connector goes into the mobo.
Thanks to talismoon not telling me this, my "nitro" switch now has two melted wires which have snapped, forturnately it still works. I will be emailing them asking for a replacement nitro switch.
But does anyone know if having the "live" wires that are just hanging around by the back of the xbox is dangerous? Its not touching the motherboard or anything like that, but im not sure if it can jump and affect the mobo. Like I said, its my first time wiring something up inside my xbox.
Also, had to remove the "nitro switch" it seems the split wires we're affecting the Disk tray not getting enough power. Will definately be getting in touch with Talismoon.
