Here is what I want to do. Blow up an entire map...
Leave nothing remain except the default layer of bedrock.
If we could get the world maxed out with players it can be done quicker...
Obviously.
Now you're asking yourself, "Why"?
Well it's never been done before...At least been recorded.
All participating people should and will get recognition.

Now, If I did simple math correctly there is 67,108,864 blocks from lowest level to altitude of "0".
Now I couldn't figure it out but a single block of "tnt" can destroy a 3x3x3x3 chunk of blocks...
I don't know how much tnt it would take... We could either throw random chunks of tnt OR methodically place each block of tnt to achive desired effect.

Let me know if any of you are interested.
Thanks,
Nemesis.

Edit: My GT is: T01 Nemesis

Update: More and more people joining! We have a great system going. More help is very welcome!

sound like a lot of work. I think I would take the methodical route and make the entire world flat first then place a layer of tnt over the world and just repeat.

The're really no point in doing this since the Superflat ability will be released in the next update. This is 3 blocks higher than the bedrock.

If I/we wanted to do it correctly we would place sand or another block to absorb the lava and water...which would prolly take longer than destroying the world itself.

No No my friend. I've placed what I believe to be the max amount of TNT able to be place at one time...Detonated it..."Lagged" but no console freeze.
You will freeze what you added wasn't max trust me
