Discussion i have a lag switch but how do i get host

i have a lag switch can i use it to get host please help me

Start matchmaking and then when it says getting match quality just switch it until it puts you in your own room. Your right, no one is really that helpful with this, I had to figure this out myself.

ill use Zone Alarm as an example,
1. Add the call of duty 4 ip addresses to your trusted zone
2. Put firewall on high
3. Search and you should get in your own lobby
4. Once in own lobby put firewall back down to Medium, Low or off
5. Wait for people
5. Profit???

Yup, most you get is "duh omgz im a dumba** you need to turn your switch on then off.." thanks.. ill test this when i get home.

uh yeah.. haven't tested this but i heard bridge connection / zone alarm is the best way to get host..

Umm ok? I don't know why it didn't work for you, but then again I'm using ZAP and you're using a lagswitch but w/e. And also for the ZAP tutorial, sometimes it migrates host off of you so when it gets to waiting to balance teams switch it back up to high until it goes to migrating host: 2 and since it's on high it won't go to anyone else. If it's a party then wait till the next odd number of people and do it again, just don't keep it up too long or you'll lag everyone out.

all depends on the conection you have to the players in the match. If u have the best connection you will be the host. The easiesy way to get host is in free 4 all.!!

Nope, here is the "correct way" of doing it. Works 100% if you do it right! By the way, this works in ANY GAME!!! For example-Call of Duty 4, and Modern Warfare 2!

1.) Go to Speakeasy Speed Test

2.) If in Internet Explorer, press control (ctrl) and K to duplicate the tabs, do this 7 tabs. You should have 8 tabs altogether.

3.) Be ready to search in the playlist you want.

4.) On the first tab, click Seattle, the second tab, San Fransisco, and keep going down the list on EVERY tab. (8 tabs)

5.) After the 8th tab, quickly search in the playlist you choose.

6.) In about 10-25 seconds, you will be put in your own lobby

7.) Works EACH AND EVERY TIME if you do it correctly.
