If you know that you have your dash on 17349 or up, it will show your avatars gray.
You can either download it, or install it manually.

You are not safe to download System Update.
You are safe to download avatar update.

There is no fix for this as of now.

If it keeps on looping, then no.

It eventually stops. And it has something to do with certain files being used to get online. I don't think I have heard of this issue on ninja, but could be wrong.

Nah, there's a fix. When booting console unplug Ethernet or wireless adapter or turn off Internet. Then just boot it to the dashboard and turn bald on Internet and connect to live, it's an easy bypass that works. It used to happen to me all the time.

i did that and when i went to test connection it could not get past my internet to xbox live and when i rebooted my jtag it wants me to do a system update

Go to DashLuanch - Network - LiveBlock - disable. The system update is just the avatar loop again. Are using XeNoN?

i am also stuck in the avatar update loop liveblock is disabled and i am using xenon know any fix i tried as the guy said above to boot to the dash then hook the internet back up with no luck

Install the update on a USB then do that method. There's plenty of tutorials on YouTube on how to do that.

I fixed this problem;
apparently it might have been the GTA V Menu that i was using, because once i took it off i finally got to go online once again.
