-For free.
A quick tut by me, as I had nothing better to do
. Do not rip without my permission.
Setting up your own proxy is actually fairly simple, and means that as no-one else but you and who ever you choose to tell about it knows about the proxy, it won't be blocked.
Setting up the proxy
1. Download
http://sourceforge.net/projects/poxy/
2. Find a free webhost that supports http proxies. Make sure the host's website isn't blocked.
http://www.free-webhosts.com/webhosting-01.php
3. While in the web panel, upload and unzip file in filemanager to a directory. The buttons are all in the toolbar at the top.
4. Click "password protect directories" and select the directory you extracted proxy to.
Tick "Password protect this directory", and then create a user.
5. Your proxy is now operational and ready to use. Just browse to the directory that you created on your site
That wasn't so difficult was it?
Will add the section on disguising your proxy later if enough people are interested. Discuss?
