Note: This tutorial assumes you have already got the main game installed and have a clean executable and tags file. These files are from the game and are considered warez, so they may not be posted here.
Note: El Dewrito is made by a team of Halo modders dedicated to bringing Halo: Online to PC gamers around the world. For more information, check out our article that covers El Dewrito and the team behind it.
1. Download the El Dewrito updater from [Click here to view this link] (be sure to get the .exe and .json)
2. Unzip the files and place all of them in the same directory as eldorado.exe
3. Run the El Dewrito Updater to ensure all your files are up to date.
4. Once you've updated, you can now play the game.
5. Hit F11 to open the server browser, or just start an online lobby to host a game.
If you're having problems hosting, make sure to open the following ports
TCP:11775
UDP: 11774
UDP: 9987 (For voice)
Other controls:
~ : Open console
Caps Lock : Voice
Enter : Chat
Tab : Switch between game/global chat
Use arrow keys and the a and b keys to navigate menus
