Patched How to Play as 3 Main Characters in GTA Online!

How to do it after patch 1.06: Note that i claim no credit for this being found after the patch all credit goes to M9A3, Thanks for the post.
For the sake of the tutorial I will be using Net Tools 5 UDP flooder. What you choose to do with the tool is entirely up to you, I do suggest using the tool on no one but yourself.

1. Download Net Tools 5 (google it)
2. Install and run Net Tools then click Start > Network Tools > scroll down to UDP flooder.
3. EDITED For my BFF brad: In the UDP flooder, replace 127.0.0.1 with 27.27.27.27 or your IPv4 Address. Directly below is the DATA box, open the SPOILER (big white button, says spoiler, yeah), copy and paste what's inside the SPOILER into the DATA tab not the 127.0.0.1 tab (add more if you're not lagging enough or transition to game store too fast)

4. Join a Public online match, press start in-game, hover over the Game Store and wait on the screen asking you to confirm.
4.5. If you want a specific SP character, instead of pressing Pause after accepting the Game Store in step 5 use the Scroll Wheel/Down on D-Pad and select one of your 3 SP Characters (Cheers Mega Xis).
5. Press Start on the UDP flooder then accept the store, you'll notice the transition hasn't started yet, press start in-game, hover over Leave Online, press Stop on the UDP flooder then Leave Online.
6. You'll spawn in SP as a SP character, go to the game store then back out and TADA! You're in MP as your SP character, enjoy.

Moonrail's method:

the trick is simple. start the flooder, pause it as soon as u get into the PS STORE, resume the flooder as soon as u back out from it... leave it running, you will spawn as michael with the yellow bar, it does not matter where u spawn, grab a car, rush into your house, open the garage, get into the car and drive it outside the garage. then stop the flooder and wait a minute or so. then you will be online. and can invite your friend to the lobby so he can take the car from you.​

i used it earlier today to bring the chrome lifeguard blazer with car tires from SP, the method is super cool cause you can literally drive the car out of michaels garage before you invite your friend. once your friend joins the lobby he will see the car but he wont see you, all u do is get off the car and let him grab it 10000% it works and i believe is the easiest method this method allows u to get the car outside michaels garage, but then as soon as you stop the flooder the online will load and the character will freeze, so there is no way to drive it to your MP garage. thats when you invite your friend to grab the vehicle.​

*Edit. Wont work. Idk why. This is what I did: -Open Mobile Browser -Press Start > L1 (Ps3) > X Twice, then it flashes and the Store opens. Like you said, i can move my character. But its way too fast. After confirming the Store pop up it takes less than 1sec to open te PsStore.

Side notes:
1) Must NOT be in an Invite Only Session, you will fail
2) If you walk into any store, and come back out, you can not re-enter your personal vehicle unless you go back to game store
EDIT: Nvm you can enter your vehicle, it just takes VERY LONG, I was writing this while my guy was glitched opening the door, he finally got in the car, but still, going to the game store and coming back will let you back in the car faster
3) This can also glitch guns, (buy all the guns you want offline and you will have them online (ex: Minigun, RPG)
4) Once you die you are invisible until you enter and exit a vehicle, when you exit the vehicle you turn into someone else'es character
EDIT: Just drove into my garage and my game froze, went to xbox store and got stuck in my house

Actually, you can do this in private, I had just done this with a friend to test sniping with the heavy sniper against a tank. The personal garage looks like it froze but takes FOOOOOOOOREVER to get inside.

My favorite part about this glitch certainly has to be carrying over guns.

Idk if having your friend in there made a difference, but if you by yourself, when you join xbox game store you have almost no time to press start and leave GTAO, you just automatically join the game store, and yea i like the guns, but i hate that my regular online character wont keep em

Also. 1)Sometimes ppl get invisible if you are inside a car. 2)When exiting MP, Store takes forever to load. 3)If your SP Character are inside his house, when you go to MP you cant go out. 4)If you join a new session/mision/race/etc, it goes back to your normal char.

This glitch is slightly amusing at first, but only until you realize that it's just faulty. No one can see you, the people you see aren't really where you think they are, you couldn't hurt them even if they were, it glitches your game like you wouldn't believe, the stun gun does nothing, and you can't really do anything at all.

The only thing that this might be good for, is that you can talk to others in game and they won't know who you are. You won't appear in their game or any lists and are virtually and completely invisible. So, good for trolling. I say might because I was in party chat the entire time and haven't tested the game chat.
