This going to be very simple since this forum is dead
--> You can use www.webs.com
--> Clan templates at http://www.clantemplates.com/
--> You will need an account for clantemplates.com
--> You might also want Microsoft Expression Web, but I will explain this later
Create an account at webs.com, figure out how to use the website and manage your cheap website, im not going to go in depth with the website without a template.
Up top you will see file manager, click it, click images and click new folder. Create a new folder called images. In that folder your going to want to upload all of the images that came with the template you downloaded. Some images are also PSD's so you can edit them in photoshop to your liking.
Outside of that folder your going to want to upload eveything else, like this
In the images folder it should look like
You dont need to have all the members, forums, and all of those different links, since that takes alot of time to edit each individually.
Everything you do should be in file manager, you do not need to worry about site manager. Now if you want to edit, press edit on the right side of any of the things.htm that you uploaded, it will be a page like this
As you can see its just basic HTML coding, I never learned it, never really had the patience, I know basic things because I did learn java, its all the same, if your reading this tut chances are you dont know how to do much of anything, so you can just edit all of this in a program called Microsoft Expression Web.
http://www.microsoft.com/expression/
Its very easy to use, and it involves no changing codes, all you do is go to file -> open -> and the .css you want to edit, normally its index.css. It will look like
Edit to your liking, save, then re-upload at the file manager
Thats about all for now, if you dont get much of what I say the template you downloaded should have instructions in it as well, and this goes for all templates that you would normally find, Im pretty sure you can also do this in google sites, but I have never tried it. Good luck. :lol:
Finished product will look something like -> www.neverendingmayhem.webs.com, depending on what template you use of course, also dont forget you dont need the .webs.com, if you want it more official, sign up at http://www.dot.tk/en/index.html?lang=en to make it *website.tk instead of *website*.webs.com :lol:
