If they're .xex plugins, you set them in Dashlaunch.

Here are some common setups

launch.ini
  1. XBDM
  2. STEALTH
  3. XDRPC (or jrpc2)
  4. XRPC (or RPC, also can be put in jrpc.ini )
Jrpc.ini
  1. Jrpc

Which way would be better for a beginner learning to set plugins up? Ive heard of the dashlaunch way and the neighborhood way where you open the launch ini and type in the file names of the plugins and then drag them into your hdd root.

They basically work the same way, on neighborhood you'll just need to know the file path for each xex. I also suggest using notepad ++
