Solved How to Install GTA V on JTAG

i tried extracting the game and it shuts my rgh off as soon as the first logo appears. im positive i have the 4 files from disc 1 in the correct folder on my internal hdd and had someone check it.

we tried patching the xex for media check and still the same thing. can anyone post theirs?

This is to remove Media Check! I looked it up before i start doing the iso and everything so here give it a go. Tell me if it works though first!

That doesn't work. I mean it said sucessful but when I put xex back on rgh GTA V still crashes the system on boot logo

You have to follow the tutorial after you do so start up disk 2.

could u mayebe explain what a god container (or whatever its called) is and how to use it etc?
The best would be if u make a video tutorial. step by step.

Instructions for JTAG/RGH Users:

1. The contents of each dvd are this:

DVD1 = Mandatory content Installation. You need this dvd to play the game
DVD2 = Single player + GTA Online

Which means the first dvd is just a normal DLC/additional installation and not an actual game.

2. Setup each DVD like this.

DVD1:

This DVD has to be installed on your console's internal HDD or a USB drive which was formatted using your console. The size of the USB drive should be enough for the entire disc. Extract DVD 1 using Xbox Backup Creator (or any other application you prefer) and copy the 'content' folder from the extracted files to your internal HDD or the external xbox formatted USB drive.

When you transfer your files, they should look like this

HDD:\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000000
HDD:\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000001
HDD:\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000002
HDD:\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000003

i.e. 1 folder called 00000002 and 4 files inside it.
DVD2:

Files from DVD 2 have to be treated like a normal game which means you can either make an ISOrip (using XBC or other apps) and use that on your JTAG/RGH or make the ISO into a GOD container.

NOTE: Do not make a GOD container of the first DVD, your game will not work if you do that.

I loaded up disk 2 default.xex but it says please insert disk 2

Having problems burning disks so how would i get past it?

for those of u with a rgh and only 4gb internal ....and play backups from a USB hard drive.

here is what i did to make it work

before you do anything make sure your usb hardive is formatted by xbox....when i did this it deleted everything in my hard drive so you might want to backup your harddrive before formatting with your xbox....so after you format it will give u 32GB of space for your xbox memory.

1. download the game.
2. extracted with xiso, which gave me two folders....disc 1 and 2
3. on the disc 1 folder get the content folder and place it ur usb hardrive
4. put the disc 2 in your "Games" folder like you normally do
5. now plug in ur hardrive and go to file manager on FSD...and trasfer the contents folder to your USB memory---->it should be called USBMU or something similar
6. now your ready to play the game

The QUACK release of this game works fine.

I used isoextract to extract the files from Disc one. I then copied them over to the correct folder on the Xbox hard drive. HDD:\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\(four files in here

Then I used iso2god on disc 2. I copied the folder that iso2god made onto my xbox 360 hard drive and everything works fine.

Right click on the iso and it should say read only or something like that. Just do this tutorial as im still download mine

it is not read-only? and when i try read-only the programs says they cannot even read the file..
