In this tutorial I will teach you how to embed a .RAR file into a picture while being able to extract the files directly from the picture.

    What you will need:
    1. The .RAR file you will be embedding
    2. The picture you wish to use. MUST BE .GIF! THIS IS KEY!
    3. Hex editor

Step 1. Open the .GIF pictureand the .RAR archive in your hex editor.

Step 2. Scroll to the bottom of the .GIF's hex and at the very end add one to two lines of 0s in the hex column.

step 3. Copy the .RAR file's entire hex code and paste it at the bottom of the .GIF's hex.

Step 4. Save the .GIF file and be sure the .GIF file extension is still there when saving, if it isn't then add it.

Step 5. Test it by right clicking and selecting "Open With>WinRAR", if it acts like a normal .RAR archive then you have successfully embedded a .RAR file in a picture.

Pretty useful when hiding files. I use it to hide my viruses.

It's a trick I've known for a while now. I've been thinking about experimenting with the coding and seeing if I can make it activate an internal application. Stealthy installation of software might be possible through means of a picture.
