How to disable tunables.json mods on PS3! (Safe, Easy & Fast)

Finally after searching extensively on how to revert the json mods back to normal, I have found a way that works 100% of the time. I have taken the time to write up a tutorial here;

Before I begin, I would like to state that is mainly for wan5s server since many people are having trouble for this. Removing DNS servers is much easier and does not require this.

THIS WILL NOT ALTER ANY FILES OR ANYTHING CURRENTLY ON YOUR PS3!

Materials required:
PC or Mac
USB Drive (1gb+)

1) Disconnect your Ethernet cable from your PS3 and revert back to your normal connection settings (Wi-Fi or Direct connectivity to the router)

2) On your PS3; XMB -> Game Data Utility -> Delete the latest (1.08) GTA: Online Update

3) Leave your PS3 on for now and move to your computer.

4) Plug in your USB Drive to your computer and create a folder called PS3.

5) Within the PS3 folder, create another called UPDATE.

6) Download this (PS3UPDAT.PUP)

7) Put that file within the UPDATE folder in your USB Drive.

8) Safely remove your USB Drive from your computer and plug it into your PS3.

9) From the home menu go to settings and click System Update.

10) Select "Update via Storage Media" and begin the update.




11) After you update and restart your PS3, load GTA, download the 1.08 Update that you deleted and load story mode.

12) From there, go to an Invite Only session and your account should be back to normal!

There's no way to delete just the online update on PS3, you'll have to delete the whole game installation which is about 8 GB and takes forever to re-install. Please prove me wrong.

there is under game utilities there should be 2 gta files on is called gta-install and the other is the update one 
personaly for me i just deleted the update and reinstalled 1.08 and it worked for me

the only gta content i have in my game data utility is " Grand theft auto v- content " and its 20 KB !!! there is nothing else there im 110% sure!! My character online just all of a sudden while playing a capture job goes back into God Mode Very frustrating, do t kno wat to do

Okk Thanks for your help bro ... ! Im just wondering how he glitches back into God mode like out of nowhere, when i have the normal tunables file set in my gta v ps3 root!! Im able to do any job as well

hmm im honestly not sure why it wont go back to normal if you have the normal tunables set

It goes back to normal ... but then all of a sudden i could be playing and bang, i"ll go into God mode and whatever multiplyers i had set in the modded tunable are in effect and i can do jobs wtvvv... I just recently unplugged the ethernet cable from my ps3(which was connected to my laptop) and setup my network connection wireless, loaded up gta online, started off everything was normal and i thoight to myself well this is going to work uno ... bammm all of a sudden its like my modded tunable took a direct path bac in my ps3 ... Mot making sense at all man, im snapping man ... lol Do you think the primary and secondary dns could be causing something .?? their values.???

hmm dang bro idk you might have to just reinstall the game that way the servers delete all other tunables and then it should download a new one an u would be fine, but since it is the digital version i dnt know any other way

Theres no way i could end up losing my online character and progress if i end up having to reinstall eh .????

For reall broo !!! Although i may have found a solution !!! Changed my primary and secondary Dns adresses to what they were before i started modding and so far, i havent randomly got thrown back into god mode...! keeping my fingers crossed thooo!! if all is good this would be perfect. Whenever i feel like modding a lobby, set up my wired connection ( ps3 to laptop ) etcc and to go back to normal mode, just go wireless on ps3

I can confirm this works 100 percent although deleting game data is both pointless and unnecessary. Just install the 4.53update

You can confirm what works 100% ??? So far so good for me, been in a session for about half hour and no random god mode!!!! Still got my fingers crossed tho lolll what the 4.53 update.???
