How to: Create an Invisible Folder on a Mac

Hello this is my first tutorial and my first post. i hope you like it :cool:.

Requirements:
Img2icns, get it here *Free*--> Img2icns | making icons can't be easier!
Photoshop ( or any software to create a transparent image)
Finder (included in Mac OS X :smile:)

Step 1:
Open Photoshop and create a new image: *Important: Background must be Transparent*

New.png


save it as a .png and called it "icon"

Step 2:
open img2icns and choose "Folder Icon"

drag your created image to the window, and i will generated a folder called "icon"

select the folder "icon", right click and select "Get Info", a window should pop up. after that select "Edit" and "Copy"

Select the folder you would like to make invisible. select, right click and "Get Info", click "Edit" and "Paste", it should become invisible, just remove the name and add only a space. it should look like this:

and Congratulations there you have your invisible folder, is up to you to fill it.

Hahahahaha good memories here. At school we used to make invisible folders on all the desktops. Good tut
