Rasterize your text, use the rectangle marquee tool and select the area you want to move left or right, then move the portion you selected.

I would've just said duplicate and cut? This could've worked also, right?

In theory it would work yes, but just moving parts of the text around is faster, and easier imo.

yeah it would've worked but it would be more efficient if you just used the one layer. The reason for duplicating is because you want to create a copy. So lets say if you made a product but want to apply the "glitch" or "distortion" effect, you'd duplicate your product because you don't want to mess it up.

The easiest way would be to use paint and the selection tool , could be done in seconds :smile:
