Hi, I just bought the slim 360 E model and there is no optical port . So how do I connect the Astro A50 headset to the 360 ? Any equipment I need ?
I found this article explaining the trouble your having. Seeing as the Slims don't have Optical Outlets you'll need to purchase A HD Audio Converter like this http://www.turtlebeach.com/product-detail/audio-converter-parts/ear-force-hd-audio-converter/421 which works with Astros A40/A50sHi, I just bought the slim 360 E model and there is no optical port . I'd would stick with name brand also seeing as it comes with a warranty and that one doesnt. You could also check Astro and they might have the same machine your looking for.Thanks.
Just wanna know that will this one do ? http://www.ebay.in/itm/New-Digital-...2?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_203&hash=item3ccf3bf7cc
I searched on Astro and there is nothing like that. I cant believe that they have not thought about customers who wanna use A50 on 360 Slim E .I'd would stick with name brand also seeing as it comes with a warranty and that one doesnt.
