Please don't delete this thread again because it is different from the others, has a video for those who need visual help and it has more to it than just bridging.

This tutorial will show you how to share your internet connection, whether it is wireless or wired, with your Xbox and optimize your connection by opening your NAT.

You will need

a crossover cable/Ethernet cable
Computer with an internet connection and spare LAN port
a router
Windows XP or Vista
*

I am using XP, a Linksys wireless adapter, the ethernet cable that came with my xbox, and a Linksys wireless router.

Here is a video tut I made on how to do it.

Step 1
Connect your xbox by Ethernet/Crossover cable and also connect to your internet connection.

Step 2
First open up your Network Connections. Now right click your Xboxs connection and go to properties. Scroll down the list box, select Internet Protocol, and click "Properties".

Step 3
Go back to "Network Connections, right click your internet connection, and select "Status". Now go to the "Support" tab and click "Details".

Step 4
Now back to your Xbox's connection's properties, from here you must check "Use the following IP address" and enter in the IP address of 192.168.0.1 and your subnet mask should fill itself in when you click the box.
Step 5
Now turn on your Xbox, go to My Xbox>System Settings>Network Settings. Select Configure Network, then your IP settings and choose to fill them in manually. Now put 192.168.0.110 as your IP address, you could change the last three digits to anything but I put 110 because it is easy to remember, then put 192.168.0.1 as your default gateway.
Step 6
Now for the DNS settings, go back to your settings overview, choose DNS Settings and choose to manually set them. Now enter your DNS from your Internet Connection on your computer into the primary DNS and leave the secondary one blank.
Step 7
If you were to check your connection you may have a moderate or strict NAT so you must now go to your routers configuration page. This is usually 192.168.1.1 but depending on what type of router you have, it could be different. You will have to enter a username, password to view the page but if you cant remember then just Google your router name and model number along with access password, and you should find it eventually.
Step 8
Go to your IP range forwarding page. Name the app something Xbox related, enter in 3074 in both boxes, choose both for protocol, enter your Internet Connections IP and finally check the box to enable it. Now repeat this for the following ports, 88, 80, and 53 and finally save your settings.
Step 9
Now we are almost finished and just need to configure your DMZ settings. Go to your DMZ page or section, check enable and enter your Internet Connections IP address before saving your settings.
Step 10
Restart your router by turning it off and back on. This may involve unplugging it and plugging it back in. Now go back to your Xbox, which should still be at the Network settings page, and test your network connections. You should have an open NAT and have no problems connecting to parties or games ever again.
If you ever experience a moderate or strict NAT then just try restarting your router.
