Discussion how do i edit the common/dlc

i no how to open the dlc in open iv and find what i need to edit, the extract the file and edit it in notepad, then you replace the the file with the new one by right clicking in open iv, but after that do i have to do anything like save it to make the dlc useable and work?

?? Are you talking about using Needle to modify the game? Or are you asking how to replace a original common file with a modified common file?

Yes, you need to "rebuild" it. When you extract the files and edit them, you must inject them into a fresh common. So extract all the files you want, then you must inject them into a fresh common/dlc. By just replacing that 1 file, rebuilding it, and inserting it into your iso wil certainly cause you to have a black screen.

so i need to completely make a new dlc, or get a dlc from a real version of the game and replace it that way
