Solved Hitachi Help :(

I had a hitachi dvd drive version 47dj

when i attemted to flash it, it would not go into modeBanymore OR eject so im thinking its bricked...

How could I continue with this?

I have flashed 3 lite ons and 2 benqs successfully

I have also heard of spoofing drives

is it possible to buy a lite on OR BenQ and use my hitachi Original firmware in some way

(i do have my hitachi orig:?)

you dont give much info.what are you flashing it with?you can flash/spoof pretty much any drive with any firmware,but youll get weird results sometimes..i used a sammy spoofed as a benq and when i played back ups alot of the time it came up play dvd,then i put the benq back in and they all played fine.
just a random thing?i dunno.

Yes you could spoof another drive with the dvd key. You could also send the drive to me. I will recover it for a fee.

you shouldnt have any trouble with jf..just try reflashing it.

which isnt clear at all.so stfu.
if he didnt use jf to flash it,it may help if he tries it.and just because hes tryed it once and it didnt open or w*e that doesnt mean its bricked,ive had that before,reset the pc and tried again and it worked,ive had that happen just from using different sata ports.so again stfu.and obviously you know **** all as if your saying that because one piece of software,or one chipset etc etc wont get a drive into mode b means its bricked makes you look like an idiot.ive tried with slax for hours and not suceeded,then tried with jf and done it first time..and vice versa.

i suggest instead of going around threads and making a poor effort at trying to incorrectly correct my posts,then making posts that dont actually help anyone,you might want to read what ppl post,then when you KNOW instead of GUESSING then comment.<_<
