helping burning dvd

so i tried burning seasons 1 and 2 of metalocalypse. but the dvd doesn't work in my dvd player. i used windows media player to burn. can someone help?

Try using convertXtodvd to burn them. Works every time.

This^

The problem you are having is that you are burning a format not recognized by your dvd player. In most cases it is probably xvid, vidx, etc...
You have to get a program that will convert the format of your media from *Your format* to dvd for it to work in a dvd player.
If you are trying to do a full movie that has all menu's included i suggest turning it into an iso image.

One program I suggest is "AVS Video Converter".
Has plenty of formats, does the job quick, and there is no hiccups in the media after conversion.
