Instead of doing that, you could try opening the page in an invisible webbrowser control and using Webbrowser1.Document.GetElementById("insertElementIDhere").InnerText.ToString

If it doesn't have an id I guess you can try this

Dim hec as HtmlElementCOllection = Webbrowser1.Document.GetElementsByTagName("insert tag name here, e.g. body")
For Each he as HtmlElement in hec
If he.GetAttribure("value") = "the 40 constant characters" then
Dim stuff as string = he.InnerText.ToString
End If
Next

I already solved this problem thanks to some nice people on another forum. Thanks for the effort though Idbc and dschu
