Unsolved Help with my new iPhone!

Ok, I just got my new iPhone 4S and I need some help transferring over my music and that stuff. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Plug it into your computer, then restore it back to your old backup

If the music on your old phone is Synced with you itunes library, then just plug in your new iPhone to your computer & sync it with iTunes.

Did you buy them from iTunes or just download them? Because if you bought them you can click on File, then Transfer purchases from, and that just work.

I bought a new computer pc of course and now if I sync my I phone with my computer it will delete all my songs. I moved all my music to a external hard drive but the pain it will be to associate it with iTunes is ridicules.
