Hi All,

There are plenty of threads on how to install the mod chip and how to operate the J-Runner software, but cant find anything how to hook the JR Programmer to the CR4, other things needed, things not to do, do you hook up the power of the xbox to go into J-Runner (i have heard conflicting information weather you power up or just run the cables for the earth)
What are all the switches on the JR Programmer for etc. Thoughts / help would be heaps appreciated.

CR4 chips are preprogrammed and do not need to be used with a JR programmer. You would just be using the JRP to read and write to your nand depending on your console type

Ok thats cool, so to power the unit, do i just plug the power in and turn the unit on to read and write the nand or is it powered through the usb, but power still needs to be turned on.

You plug the power in but DON'T turn on the console to read and write the nand, and if you look in J-Runner there are pictures of where to solder the wires to connect JR Programmer to your 360. If you are using the QSB's you simply plug the three connectors (green, blue and white) into them to do it also. Some people cut those connectors off so they can solder the wires directly to the headers, the wires are color coded to match the diagrams in the pictures.
